What can I expect?
- A typical portrait session begins with a discussion of what type of poses you desire, your wardrobe to be used during the session, and the best background for you. The next step is to determine the order of the poses. After that, the fun begins. We shoot multiple shots of each pose to give you the best choices for prints.
What do I wear?
- Solid colors usually work best, avoiding solid white, stripes, checkered, and most complicated patterns. A couple, or family portrait looks best when the wardrobe is color coordinated between all subjects. If you have questions before you come in, please call and your wardrobe can be discussed.
Is makeup included?
- No, the standard portrait does not include makeup, but a translucent powder might be applied to reduce any glare that the lights can cause on skin.
How long will the portrait session last?
- Depending on the package chosen, a portrait session can last between 1 and 3 hours.
Will I get proofs?
- All of our packages include a printed proof magazine.
How do I order pictures?
- An order form will be with the proof magazine so you can order at your leisure.
